Converting Fonts

LibreCAD includes a utility, “ttf2lff”, to convert “TrueType” fonts to LibreCAD font file/format (*.lff). ttf2lff is located in th same directory as the LibreCAD executable and the location varies by operating system. For Microsoft Windows, ttf2lff is located in C:\Program Files\LibreCAD".

1. Open a console/terminal to access the command line.

2. At the command prompt type the following command and press [Enter]:

   PathTottf2lff\ttf2lff PathTo\\TrueTypeFontName.ttf LibreCADFontName.lff
   

3. Copy or move the new font to the LibreCAD fonts folder. Refer to Application Preferences in Configure section of Getting Started.
